Provisional Psychologist / Clinical Registrar

About the role

We are an approved training site and we take that seriously. This position suits a provisional psychologist completing 4+2 or 5+1, or a psychologist beginning the Clinical Registrar program.

Your caseload builds gradually. You will start with straightforward presentations and add complexity as your confidence does, with a supervisor who has time booked to talk to you.

What you will be doing

• Provide therapy and assessment under supervision, with a caseload graded to your stage of training
• Complete the supervision, logbook and competency requirements of your program
• Participate in fortnightly clinical meetings
• Develop report-writing skills with detailed feedback

What you will need

• Provisional registration with AHPRA, or general registration and acceptance into the Clinical Registrar program
• Enrolment in an accredited program, or an approved 4+2 / 5+1 pathway
• NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or eligibility
• A willingness to be new at something in front of other people
